This is a very depressing article. Though you can probably buy a lot more house here than almost anywhere else in the states. The bad part is the poverty and lack of jobs.

Non-native English Speakers Point out Street Sign Error to Public Works Dept.

I know that we tend to focus on errors in street signs, but come one. Didn't anyone who can spell see this sign? Its not like its an obscure (or even common) last name. This is a basic English word. I think we are all so amused (or bothered) by spelling mistakes on signs because there are usually two words total on signs. There just isn't a huge opportunity for error. Now, if they were putting a couple hundred words on there, a mistake wouldn't be quite so funny.
