Importance of Street Signs

This is a very sad story that reminds us why street signs and unique street names are so important. People's lives may be at stake.

Adopt-a-Road Taken Very Seriously

This is what I like to see people do! I'm a big proponent of productive exercise. I don't have time to go to a gym or waste my energy fitness walking. I walk on my way to work and get exercise gardening. This woman turned her need for fitness into a public service. Go Joyce Oxley!!!

Street Sign for a Year

Where I went to high school they auctioned the street name off every year. I like this idea better. Do well in school and everyone has to look at your name for a year. What I really want to know, however, is how David Kelly feels about this.

Road Signs Nobody Wants

Because steel and aluminu can be sold as scrap metal, they are "studying the use of other road sign materials that are not susceptible to theft." Plastic road signs?
