My Road Sign

Some people don't understand why road signs and street signs are so interesting. Maybe that's because they haven't visited myroadsign.com! Or, maybe they haven't thought about the role that road signs play in our lives. We complain when they aren't there. We laugh when we see a funny street sign. We find our way to a friends house or to an interview. They also tell stories. You may be able to tell what the town founders found important by what they named the streets. You may decide that some people have a complex about their address, when you see a mere byway a highway. You may see people's senses of humor (the intersection of bow and arrow). No matter how you see street signs and road signs you should enjoy them. We spend enough time on the roads that thinking about road signs can't be all bad.

Road Signs at Center of Sovereignist Symbolism

Not being from Quebec, I wouldn't have guessed how upset people could get over leaving the word "national" off a street sign. Sovereignists see this as an intentional snub and see the city's planned mural as a deliberate attempt to promote Canadian unity.
